Deltec Engineering Limited is a wholly indigenous, service-driven, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and project management company. The Company was registered in 1991 for the purposes of growing and developing indigenous capacity in civil and structural engineering design, construction and project management. Today, the company has strategic alliances with other professional organizations in the built environment with Deltec Engineering Limited as lead consultants in most cases.
Our consulting services range from investigations, feasibility studies / appraisals, economic and physical planning, construction supervision, project management and complete engineering design to the supply of special engineering skills and advice.
The company started operations in February, 1995 at 17, Ogunlana Street, Akowonjo - Lagos, from where it moved to a bigger place at 154, Akowonjo Road in 1998 and later 11, Shasha Road, all within the same area in Lagos - Nigeria. Deltec Engineering Limited finally relocated to their place of assignment, the Niger Delta, in September, 2005 and settled in Effurun near Warri in Delta State of Nigeria.
The platform for continuous professional development was given in 2005 and in July 2006, that platform, The Centre for Advanced Structural Engineering and Studies (CASES) took over the training arm of the Company as one of its subsidiaries and has since impacted close to 1000 engineers to date through various workshops and seminars. Our CEO was recently listed in the Construction & Engineering Digest magazine (Vol. 18 No. 6, 2010) as one of the top 50 engineers to emerge from Nigeria since independence.
Other companies from the staples of Deltec Engineering Limited include Service Masters Foods Limited, which is registered and has been fully operational since 2009 and Service Masters Limited, which is being repositioned for engineering and construction activities beginning from March, 2011.
Apart from the Corporate Affairs Commission, Deltec Engineering Limited is registered with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) – Specialized Category, and is also a member of the Association of Consulting Engineers, Nigeria (ACEN).
Commissions have been successfully undertaken in various capacities for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and some of its subsidiaries. Other clients include The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unltd, the Petroleum (Special) Trust Fund, (PTF), Moju Environmental Technologies, USA,
O&G Technologies Ltd, UK, The Federal Ministry of Information (&Culture), The Federal Ministry of Defence, The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC and other corporate and private developers in Nigeria.
